• Direct traffic safely through active work zones using stop/slow paddles and hand signals

• Set up, maintain, and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades) per the traffic control plan

• Communicate clearly with crew members, TCS (Traffic Control Supervisor), and motorists

• Stay alert and maintain a safe working environment for the crew and the public

• Follow all MUTCD and CDOT traffic control standards

• Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues to your supervisor immediately

• Operate and maintain shop hydraulic tools like floor jacks, shop presses, and fluid lifters.

• Cut, clean, and crimp hydraulic hoses and fit replacement lines.

• Disassemble worn assemblies, clean greasy parts, and prep components for rebuilds.

• Communicate with Yard/Shop Manager as to yard needs.

• Maintain, clean, pressure wash, paint, and repair all company equipment.

• Load/Unload trailers with necessary equipment and supplies.

• Installs, repairs, removes and maintains various company tools and equipment

• Accurately inspects all iron and equipment for defects, washed out parts, etc.

• Maintain a clean shop and yard to include, but not limited to sweeping, picking up trash, power washing pad, etc.

• Observes safe working practices, safety rules, and regulations 

• Communicate effectively with employees, the client representative and/or other third party service companies.

• Wears appropriate PPE as required.

• Comply with Attendance Standards.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications to fabricate, assemble, and weld structural metal components and products

• Safely operate and maintain welding tools, equipment, and machinery such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines

• Perform a variety of welding techniques, including shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, and flux-cored arc welding

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications by conducting visual inspections of welds and performing necessary repairs or modifications

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide input on fabrication methods and resolve any technical issues that may arise

• Follow proper safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

• Assist with general shop housekeeping duties and perform occasional metal fabrication tasks as needed

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brake systems, and drivetrains.

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on diesel semi-trucks, company vehicles, and heavy equipment.

• Repair and maintain crushers, loaders, excavators, skid steers, and other construction equipment.

• Perform emergency field repairs when equipment breaks down on job sites.

• Complete inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Ensure all equipment meets safety and DOT requirements.

• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Work with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime.

• Transporting crushed rock, sand, gravel, salt, broken concrete, debris, asphalt, etc. to and from specified locations. Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions. 

• Ensure materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck. 

• Inspecting the dump truck before and after every trip or as required by management, which includes checking the oil, gas, and water levels as well as the lights and tires. 

• Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook. 

• Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly. 

• Maintain accurate driver logs. 

• Complying with all safety rules and regulations. 

• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

• Answering phones, taking messages and directing calls

• Greeting visitors, managing sign-in logs and addressing inquiries

• Sorting and distributing incoming mail, email and packages

• Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, booking rooms and coordinating meetings

• Performing data entry and maintaining physical and digital files

• Drafting, proofreading, copying and sending routine correspondence

• Ordering office supplies, stocking break rooms and managing inventory

• Assisting with basic bookkeeping, expense reports or invoicing

• Safely operate and maintain a box truck for the purpose of picking up and delivering goods 

• Load and unload goods onto the truck, ensuring that they are securely strapped in place to prevent damage during transit.

• Plan and organize daily delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery expectations.

• Provide exceptional customer service, including polite and professional interaction with clients during delivery drop-offs and pick-ups.

• Complete all required paperwork accurately and efficiently, including delivery records, vehicle inspection reports, and customer signatures.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck to ensure it remains in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate supervisor.

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself, other road users, and the goods being transported.

• Load, carry, and transport equipment from company vehicles to job sites.

• Excavate and work in rocky ground conditions using shovels, picks, and digging bars.

• Operate safely in confined, wet, slippery, and challenging work environments.

• Frequently climb and descend ladders as required by job tasks.

• Follow all safety protocols and properly report incidents when necessary.

• Comply with and support all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.ollowed.

• Ability to remain upright and to access ground level surfaces

• Knowledge of materials commonly used in concrete projects

• Ability to move heavy materials and tools from one location to another

• Understanding of how concrete cures and how environmental conditions may impact the process

• Analytical skills to interpret blueprints and construction specifications

A local construction company is seeking temporary employees to assist with their projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.

• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.

• Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.

• Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes.

• Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.

• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.

• Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
